What an absolute joy it was to spend the whole afternoon with this brilliant book club in Fife talking about The Real Mackay! Everyone had read it so there were some really interesting and insightful comments - the best kind of day!

It was a great privilege to give a talk about the Theatre Royal and Walter Scott’s dramas at the Story-Telling Centre as part of the Scottish Theatre History weekend, and to chat about it and about my book with Donald Smith afterwards.
